This is uncalled for, as once again, one should not risk causing other dependencies requiring channel 6. Wireless FYI: If your wireless channel is set to 6, you may try moving it to a different channel to isolate wireless setup issues with many HP Printers.

If a printer driver developer is allowing one to download, install and use such drivers, then make sure it's all-inclusive to its purposed intent can install and function to/fromt he OS (and it's connected methods): print, scan, fax. The issue is to install the HP Scan on any supported Windows Client / Server to the already installed HP Printer irregardless of how the OS sign in method (Microsoft account, local or domain authentication) AND irregardless of whether or not the user or business model chooses to integrate or use Windows Store apps.

Im really embarrassed saying this but we have things setup so in order for people to reset their 365 passwords they need to call somebody in IT so we can do it in Active Directory Users and Computers and then synchronize it with the sync tool for 365.Is i.Not best answer.

#Hp scanner drivers not installing 64 Bit#
The HP site when it sees windows 10 64 bit it selects the win 7 X64 driver. Most others say mount a win 10 iso, do some local GPO thing, then that fixes. I googled the error one said run SFC, did that no luck. NET 3.5 no idea why, I try and load and it just fails whether i download it or do from control panel. It still does same thing and fails to connect. I then tried to remove the old drivers and leaving it disconnected. I originally had left it connected, and reconnected. I got new driver from HP site tried to load and got to point it asks to connect the USB cable. Then user went to scan, and I confirmed when use win fax/scan it would start to scan then somewhere in the process it would just fail. Connected printers, etc and all seemed fine.

I am trying to fix a system that had this scanner loaded and working on windows 7, the system died it got replaced with windows 10.
